About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled LPN or Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our medical professionals in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic medical and nursing care, including vital sign checks and medication administration.
  • Ensure patient comfort and discuss healthcare plans with patients.
  • Report patient status to registered nurses and providers.
  • Identify and evaluate patient needs through telephone triage.
  • Administer medication and document patient information.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Facilitate patient flow and maintain office integrity.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Additional Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in primary care setting.
  • Current BLS certification.

Medical Assistant Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for office visits and assist physicians with medical procedures.
  • Administer medication and document patient information.
  • Adhere to nursing policy and procedure when documenting information.
  • Maintain office integrity and assume responsibility for maintaining current certification in CPR.
  • Read and reference new policies and procedures.

Requirements for Medical Assistants:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience.
  • Medical Assistant Certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Medical Assistant.

Additional Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in primary care setting.
  • Current BLS certification.

Sign-On Bonus and Commitment:

The sign-on bonus will be paid in full after passing the probationary period. A one-year commitment is required for new employees only.
