Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Analyst specializing in Utilities and Property Management. This role is pivotal in assisting the Purchasing Manager with the formulation and implementation of sourcing strategies for various commodities across our extensive North American operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the strategic sourcing initiatives for all utility expenditures, including water, gas, and electricity, as well as site services across Brandt's North American footprint.
- Contribute to the formulation of long-term sourcing strategies for designated projects or commodities.
- Develop expertise in the supply market for assigned categories and provide insights on current and anticipated market dynamics.
- Leverage supplier and market intelligence to align with business unit needs, formulate sourcing strategies, and enhance Brandt's competitive edge.
- Facilitate sourcing processes, including supplier selection, negotiations, and the creation and oversight of supplier agreements.
- Establish, nurture, and manage supplier relationships to meet the requirements of Brandt's business units.
- Comprehend the contracting lifecycle, including negotiation, contract drafting, and administration for assigned categories.
- Deliver supplier contracts that are commercially viable and align with the business unit's technological, quality, and cost objectives, ensuring robust protection of company assets.
- Oversee and negotiate the existing contract portfolio while implementing new sourcing strategies.
- Draft, compose, and issue bids (RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFx).
- Track and report on performance metrics to the Purchasing Manager.
- Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures pertaining to indirect spend management.
- Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
