Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Project Leader to join its team in Granton, Nova Scotia.
Job SummaryThe Instrumentation Project Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of instrumentation and control systems, complying with regulatory standards and supporting the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities- Install and calibrate new instrumentation systems, configuring them to meet required specifications.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on existing systems to prevent mechanical failure.
- Ensure instruments are calibrated correctly to maintain accuracy and reliability in data gathering and process control.
- Diagnose issues and make immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Update system software and hardware to maintain technological compliance and efficiency.
- Keep detailed service reports and process documentation to adhere to compliance and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance.
- Provide training and support to other technical staff and team members regarding system operation and troubleshooting complexities.
- Technical diploma in Instrumentation Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with industrial scales.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead strategic projects.
