The M365 Cloud Solutions Administrator role at FSET Inc is a permanent full-time opportunity responsible for ensuring the effective operation and strategic advancement of our cloud-based and modern workplace solutions. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and works in close collaboration with IT and security teams to maintain secure, compliant, and high-performing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and optimize a Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and optimal performance.
- Implement and oversee Microsoft Entra for identity and access management, guaranteeing secure and efficient resource access.
- Proactively manage security threats utilizing Microsoft 365 Defender, including the setup of Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, and Cloud Apps.
- Ensure compliance and information governance through Microsoft Purview, safeguarding data in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the performance and health of Microsoft 365 services, addressing any disruptions or performance challenges while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Develop and sustain automation scripts for routine administrative tasks within Microsoft 365, including tenant configurations and Defender deployments.
- Provide expert support for Microsoft 365-related issues, employing diagnostic tools to resolve complex challenges.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to align the Microsoft 365 environment with the overall IT strategy and security framework.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bondable Criminal record check; enhanced reliability security clearance.
- A degree in information technology, system administration, computer science, or a related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in a System Administrator role or similar, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 environments.
- Certifications in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview; additional System Administration and IT certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with service management solutions (e.g., Datto Autotask).
- In-depth understanding of networking technologies, including VLAN, VPN, and other IP-related services such as DNS in a Windows environment.
- Experience in securing and hardening operating systems, networks, databases, and applications is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practices, particularly concerning Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities, especially with PowerShell for Microsoft administrative tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
