Leadership Opportunity

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to fill the role of Director of Care Services in our Thunder Bay location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide overall leadership to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to residents.
  2. Manage financial, physical, and human resources for the various departments.
  3. Recruit and develop a team of skilled professionals who share our commitment to excellence.
  4. Collaborate with residents, families, and the local community to promote our mission and values.
  5. Participate in budgeting and manage the facility within the allocated budget.

Requirements:

  1. Post-secondary degree in health or social services, or equivalent experience.
  2. Administrator's Certification (minimum 100 hours of instruction time completed or enrolled).
  3. Ontario Fire Safety: Training for Owners/Operators Course Certificate.
  4. At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the health or social services sector.
