About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito Mexican Fresh Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment
    • College/CEGEP education
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment
    • Standing for extended periods
