About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bella Pizza. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize efficiency and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data to management.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and strong communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
