Position Overview:

Effective management of third-party technology is essential for delivering HOOPP's pension promise. This role is pivotal in ensuring that these technology services are efficiently managed, empowering HOOPP's IT leaders to maximize the value derived from their IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Analyst, Vendor Management will oversee essential vendor relationships to guarantee that third-party services align with HOOPP's strategic objectives. This includes understanding, maintaining, and managing all contracted obligations to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are fulfilled and any issues are promptly escalated to mitigate risks.
  • Cultivate and maintain critical vendor partnerships on behalf of the IT department.
  • Organize and facilitate vendor operations reviews, quarterly business assessments, and executive meetings as per established schedules or contractual requirements.
  • Monitor vendor meeting outcomes to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Lead high-stakes procurement initiatives with key technology partners.
  • Conduct vendor risk evaluations for new partners and communicate any associated risks to key stakeholders, facilitating informed decisions regarding vendor selection and engagement.
  • Ensure annual risk assessments are performed for identified critical vendors.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to guarantee service value, compliance, and ongoing enhancement of essential vendor services.
  • Analyze vendor options, contracts, and licenses to recommend optimal value for HOOPP.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in IT vendor management or technology licensing within a financial institution or technology firm.
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in liaising with various business units and IT at all levels, including executive management.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship management, both written and verbal communication.
  • In-depth knowledge of key enterprise technology services (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, SAP, CISCO).
  • Strong grasp of the current technology landscape, including cloud solutions, software, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with common IT product licensing and compliance management.
