Position Overview:

Effective management of third-party technology is essential for the operational success of HOOPP's pension commitments. This role is pivotal in leading the management of these services, empowering HOOPP's IT leaders to maximize the value derived from their IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Analyst, Vendor Management will oversee essential vendor relationships to guarantee that third-party services align with HOOPP's strategic objectives. This includes understanding, maintaining, and managing all third-party contractual obligations, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are fulfilled and that any issues are promptly escalated to mitigate risks.
  • Cultivate and manage critical vendor partnerships on behalf of the IT department.
  • Organize and facilitate vendor operations reviews, quarterly business assessments, and executive engagements according to established schedules or contractual requirements.
  • Monitor vendor meeting outcomes to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Lead high-stakes procurement initiatives with key technology partners.
  • Conduct vendor risk evaluations for new vendors and inform key stakeholders of any associated risks, enabling informed decisions regarding vendor selection and engagement.
  • Ensure that annual risk assessments are performed for identified critical vendors.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure service value, compliance, and ongoing enhancement of critical vendor services.
  • Analyze vendor options, contracts, and licenses to recommend optimal value for HOOPP.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT vendor management or technology licensing within a financial institution or technology company.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in liaising with various business units and IT at all levels, including executive management.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship management and both written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with key enterprise technology services (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, SAP, CISCO).
  • Strong understanding of the current technology landscape, including cloud solutions, software, and significant industry trends and standards.
  • Knowledgeable in common IT product licensing and compliance management.
