Job DescriptionAs a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying sales and market opportunities in Ontario, maintaining good relations with customers and bidders, and managing sales projects and business development actions to contribute to growth.
Key Responsibilities- Frequently visit and maintain close relationships with customers and partners (contractors, signage companies, designers, supervisors, government departments, municipalities)
- Active participation in business development and marketing strategies in line with established sales targets
- Ensure the company's presence at community forums, groups, associations, and events
- Analyze the market and trends to develop and cultivate new business relationships at provincial and national levels
- Research information and analyze project needs in conjunction with suppliers
- Participate in the development and present 'lunch & learn' to customers
- Work closely with administration to ensure accurate and complete billing information, and with the sales team to ensure effective teamwork
- Participate in the homologation of new products, as well as their development in terms of project follow-up
- University degree in Civil Engineering (an asset), Business Administration, or other relevant field
- Relevant experience in business development and/or marketing is required, including content creation and communications on social networks
- Knowledge of the construction environment (civil or building) and/or road safety (a strong asset)
- Bilingualism required: fluency in French and English (5/5), both oral and written
