Position Overview

As an Event Service Specialist, your primary responsibility is to surpass guest expectations by fostering a friendly and inviting environment that aligns with our commitment to exceptional service. Your role is vital in shaping the guest's perception of our service quality throughout the establishment. From the initial setup and execution of events to the meticulous breakdown of spaces for future use, you are a key player in the Food & Beverage Team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain the banquet areas, lobby, public spaces, and storage zones in pristine condition to ensure optimal first impressions.
  • Prepare and arrange banquet spaces according to detailed specifications, including table layouts, decorations, linens, and settings.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of all banquet displays and decorations.
  • Clear tables and clean banquet areas post-events, ensuring readiness for subsequent functions.
  • Comply with all regulations related to food and alcohol service.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in a serving or food & beverage role is advantageous.
  • Proficient with technology.
  • ProServe certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This role may require working day, afternoon, or evening shifts on any day of the week, including weekends, with extended hours during peak business periods. The position is set in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment that necessitates continuous physical activity, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and demands. There may be instances of independent work and fluctuations in temperature between different areas of the venue.
