Position Overview

As an Event Service Specialist, you play a vital role in enhancing guest experiences by fostering a friendly and inviting environment that aligns with our commitment to exceptional service. Your contributions are essential in shaping the guests' perception of quality service throughout our establishment. From the meticulous setup and execution of events to the efficient breakdown of spaces for subsequent use, you are a key member of the Food & Beverage Team.

Core Responsibilities

Maintains the banquet areas, lobby, public spaces, and storage areas in pristine condition to ensure excellent first impressions.Prepares and arranges banquet spaces according to detailed specifications, including table layouts, decorations, linens, and settings.Delivers food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.Assists in the setup and dismantling of all banquet displays and decorations.Clears tables and cleans banquet areas post-events, ensuring readiness for future functions.Complies with all regulations regarding food and alcohol service.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a serving or food & beverage role is advantageous.Comfortable with technology.ProServe certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This role may involve working day, afternoon, or evening shifts any day of the week, including weekends, with extended hours during peak business periods. The position is set in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment that requires continuous physical activity, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You may experience periods of independent work and variations in temperature between different areas of the venue.
