Job Title: Financial Vice President

Stonewood Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our diverse portfolio of growth-oriented companies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Manage the production of timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  3. Participate in financial analysis and planning to identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with senior management teams to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
  5. Provide financial guidance and support to portfolio companies.
  6. Manage relationships with banks, insurance brokers, and other financial institutions.
  7. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  8. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements:
  • Accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA).
  • Business degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a senior leadership role.
