About the Role

Lundbeck is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Psychiatry department. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in driving the local and regional medical strategy for marketed and emerging products in the Psychiatry field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Foster Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Canadian Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the Psychiatry field.
  • Provide Scientific Expertise: Offer objective scientific information and engage in balanced discussions to advance awareness of disease states, therapeutic trends, and scientific research.
  • Collect Insights and Feedback: Gather insights into disease management and unmet needs from healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with field teams, provide medical leadership for critical business activities, and identify potential clinical investigators for Phase II/III and post-marketing programs.
Requirements
  • Education: MD, PharmD, Ph.D., or Master's degree in Sciences or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of MSL experience within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry.
  • Scientific Expertise: Strong scientific expertise in the therapeutic field of Psychiatry or Neurosciences.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in oral and written English; French (written and/or spoken) is a strong asset.
