Staff Release Manager

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Release Manager to join our MetaMask Delivery Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the consistent and frictionless delivery of features through our Extension and Mobile platforms.

Our team is responsible for managing and facilitating the release processes for multiple teams, ensuring that our software delivery systems support the continuous flow of work through the software lifecycle. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving our software delivery systems and implement those improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage release schedules
  • Identify opportunities for improving our software delivery systems and help coordinate cross-team collaboration to implement those improvements
  • Manage delivery risks and issues, and take corrective action
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Coordinate monitoring of production issues and issue response processes
  • Manage delivery metric collection, ensuring accuracy and currency
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure that applications being delivered are validated and meet customer requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Business)
  • ~3+ years of experience in delivery management for mobile and/or client applications
  • ~ Strong project and program management skills, including experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana)
  • ~ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • ~ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
