Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist looking to make a significant impact in the field of audiology? In this role, your primary responsibility will be to expertly guide patients through the entire process, from initial assessments to fitting and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding patient experience by providing guidance and education.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, including hearing tests, and recommend suitable hearing aid solutions.
  • Facilitate hearing aid fittings and manage necessary documentation such as Workers Compensation and Medical Reports.
  • Promote hearing aids by informing patients about their hearing loss and the available technologies to improve their auditory experience.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up care for all patients, including establishing a checkup schedule.
  • Generate leads through community networking and outreach initiatives.
  • Foster repeat business by ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and pricing structures.

Qualifications:

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfort with the sales process and a proven track record in selling hearing aids is essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions.
  • Commitment to integrity, honesty, and respect for patients and colleagues alike.
  • Must be a registered Hearing Instrument Specialist or possess the ability to become registered in the Province of Manitoba.
