About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in the successful completion of land development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of drawings and calculations for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform site development tasks, including grading, servicing, stormwater management, and sediment and erosion control.
  • Assist in quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and specification preparation for projects.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integrity and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Technical degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Civil Designer role working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, including grading, servicing, road profile design, and storm and sanitary sewer design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs.
