About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering complex civil design projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, site remediation, and solid waste management.
  • Collaborate with business leads, project directors, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Develop and verify technical project scopes, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control processes are followed.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Represent GHD at client meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P. Eng certification in Ontario is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of extensive technical design experience, with a focus on civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy.
  • Experience working in a Design-Build environment and integrated 3D environments.
  • Strong team building and mentoring skills.
