Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an oncology or outpatient chemotherapy adult setting.
  • British Columbia Cancer Agency Chemotherapy Certification or equivalent certification from a recognized cancer agency.
