Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital mission statement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care plans, ensuring patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Completion of a post-graduate perioperative nursing course, or two years recent experience in an equivalent setting with a minimum of two years of OR/PARR Nursing experience
