Job Title: Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at Leedwood LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and processing shipments, and ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date. This is a permanent position with a 44-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using a computerized or manual system.
  • Receive and process shipments, verifying quantities and types of stock received.
  • Ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Compile and review inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Dispose of and account for outdated stock, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Pack and prepare items for shipping and distribution, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Place stock on shelves and maintain stock rotation to ensure that older stock is used before newer stock.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish stock, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using a computerized or manual inventory system.
  • Unpack goods received and verify receipts and packing slips.
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, team player, and versatile.
