Inventory Coordinator

This position plays a crucial role in driving site profitability and ensuring accurate inventory records. As the Inventory Coordinator/SAP Super User, you will provide critical reporting, conduct root cause analysis, and take action to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize spare parts management. With a strong focus on material usage, you will also assist in the creation and goods receipt of technical purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished products.
- Report and explain material usage variances.
- Lead the Rework and Blocked Stock Action team.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on production efficiency.
- Participate in waste reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials for production.
- Supervise lift truck operators supporting production lines.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Process Controlling, and Quality on cost savings opportunities.
- Daily balance production process orders.
- Create purchase orders and goods receipts for the warehouse.
- Provide training assistance and procedures for operations staff.
- Monthly reconcile outside warehouse inventory, tracking history by month.
- Review inventory adjustments, identifying top issues to drive change.
- Partner with Finance on material usage variances and adjustments.
- Site SAP expert for operations processes, ensuring accuracy and retraining as needed.
- Act as backup for logistics coordinator.
- Ensure site meets Barry Callebaut, supplier, and customer traceability standards.
- College diploma in Finance or Business.
- Strong management accounting background with a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing/production.
- Demonstrated experience using SAP.
- Strong technical abilities (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- May require occasional travel.
