Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a General Practitioner in Cancer Care, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in the Southern Interior region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in cancer care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia.
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment.
  • Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia.
