Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Maintenance and Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspections of common areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, signage, interior common areas, washrooms, and garbage/waste facilities
  • Liaise and supervise day-to-day activities of on-site contractors, including janitorial and maintenance providers
  • Document incidents, such as falls, and assist with insurance claims as necessary
  • Assist with marketing events and gather and forward mail, rental payment cheques, etc.
  • Handle customer and tenant inquiries or complaints in a professional and friendly manner
  • Provide access to vacant units and tour prospective tenants as needed
  • Proficient use of technology, including email, Excel, Word, and Angus

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in business administration
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and able to cope with changing client needs
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, and email
  • Police clearance required
