Sawmill Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sawmill Operations Supervisor to join our team at Dhaliwal Ventures Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our sawmill facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Efficiency: Ensure that systems and equipment are operating at optimal levels, and implement maintenance and repair schedules as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our sawmill machine operators, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Production Planning: Establish work schedules and coordinate activities with other departments to meet production targets.
- Quality Control: Monitor and improve product quality, recommending measures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Safety and Training: Oversee safety conditions, train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leadership Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a sawmill or manufacturing environment.
- Operational Knowledge: In-depth understanding of sawmill operations, including equipment maintenance, production planning, and quality control.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
