About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Ideal Glass Hardware Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure high-quality results
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines
Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and be able to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a client-focused attitude
  • Flexibility, organized, and punctual
