Welder - Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Ideal Glass Hardware Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding processes.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and execute welding process specifications to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Operate and maintain manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.
- Examine welds and ensure they meet quality standards through visual inspection and testing.
- Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to prepare metal for welding and fabrication.
- Determine weldability of materials and select appropriate welding processes and techniques.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling of heavy loads.
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks that require attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel and other metals.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and bending.
