Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing nursing procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care
Requirements
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the BCCNM
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
