Senior Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team at GTT, LLC. As a key member of our digital health team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for digital health initiatives to ensure compliance with Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
  • Interpret and apply relevant regulations to assess existing policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for change.
  • Develop and provide change management support and communications to stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition to new policies and procedures.
  • Review and provide advice on privacy policy and guidelines, ensuring alignment with Ontario's privacy legislation and digital health standards.
  • Coordinate across branches and develop communication materials to support stakeholder engagement and education.
  • Consult with stakeholders on privacy topics, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Prepare and present status reports to relevant governance bodies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Ontario's healthcare system and digital health landscape.
  • Extensive experience with privacy regulations and PIAs in the health sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program and project management.
  • Knowledge of IT strategy and planning in health technology contexts.
  • Strong business analysis skills.
