CB Canada is seeking a skilled Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading or supporting the development of privacy impact assessments that evaluate the privacy implications of new technologies, information systems, and proposed programs or policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement privacy impact assessments to ensure compliance with provincial, municipal, federal, and private sector access and privacy legislation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and mitigate risks associated with personal information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to protect personal information.
  • Provide education and training to employees on privacy best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in conducting privacy impact assessments in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of privacy and security concepts, trends, and issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification in a related field, such as IT security or architecture.
  • Experience providing education and training on privacy best practices.
