Baker - Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Chef Reza Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Decorating: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules.
- Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or bakery environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Permanent Employment: Opportunity for long-term employment with Chef Reza Inc.
- Language Support: Does not require Canadian work experience.
- Work-Life Balance: 35 hours per week.
