Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, financial expertise, and the ability to deliver strategic insights that enhance business performance.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the FP&A Manager will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, financial analysis, and supporting decision-making initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining financial models to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Assisting in the creation of board presentations, executive summaries, and other communication materials to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Managing the annual sales commission program, including calculations and payment instructions to payroll.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
- Assessing the financial implications of business strategies, initiatives, and investments to aid informed decision-making by senior management.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may affect financial performance.
- Supporting the CFO and senior management team in special projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a corporate finance or strategic planning role in a manufacturing context.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical techniques.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial planning software, and ERP systems; ability to extract and analyze data from SQL databases and other sources.
Excellent communication skills with the capability to present complex financial information to senior leaders clearly and concisely.
