Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Kassen is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L, variances, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and completeness through thorough checks and validations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of key financial areas, including inventory changes, accounts receivable changes, and working capital fluctuations, identifying drivers of changes month-over-month and year-over-year.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Compile and present financial reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management clearly and concisely.
  • Provide actionable data and insights to support decision-making by the leadership team, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver relevant information.
  • Opportunities to improve reporting processes and tools, staying current with industry best practices and financial tools, including Excel and Power BI.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a logical and methodical approach to analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
