Overview: Linds & Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to specialize in Real Estate Law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various legal tasks related to both commercial and residential transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial and residential transactions, including drafting necessary legal documents and liaising with clients and other legal firms.
  • Conduct title searches and off-title inquiries.
  • Assist in the registration of subdivision plans and other property development projects.
  • Support commercial leasing processes.
  • Prepare legal documents in Teraview, such as Transfers, Charges, Easements, and Discharges.
  • Draft reporting letters and invoices for clients.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital case files.
  • Open new files in PCLaw and draft all relevant correspondence.
  • Prepare closing documentation for transactions, ensuring all corporate documents are in order.
  • Facilitate the closing process for subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • A diploma in Legal Administration or a Law Clerk program, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a Real Estate Law environment.
  • Proficient in PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview, and Conveyancer.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple files.
  • Experience in completing transactions from initiation to conclusion with minimal oversight.
