Job Description:

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our client in the Mining industry. Our client is a well-established company in the mining sector, and they are looking for a Procurement Manager to handle their procurement processes and ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes in the mining industry.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services required for mining operations, while maintaining cost control and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs, forecast demand, and develop procurement plans.
  • Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the procurement process.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the mining sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic mining environment.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the mining industry.
