As a Procurement Manager in the Mining industry, you will be responsible for managing the procurement activities, including sourcing and procurement of goods, services, and equipment required for mining operations. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes in the mining industry.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services required for mining operations, while maintaining cost control and maximizing efficiency.
