Project Management Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the procurement and project management teams in coordinating project-related activities.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and communication documents.
  • Proactively aid in schedule creation and milestone tracking.
  • Support the procurement manager in managing vendor commitments and relationships.
  • Effectively relay project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the communication flow for contract submissions, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submissions, and other documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in subcontractor operations and manage subcontractor schedules.
  • Identify and manage critical paths to ensure timely task completion.
  • Resolve unique challenges as they arise.
  • Engage in the development and maintenance of business management tools for project execution.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and assist in revising processes.
  • Support the procurement manager in crafting proposals and contract exhibits.
  • Monitor the status and compliance of project documentation.
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness and adherence to contract specifications.
  • Submit project proposals for management approval and ensure the transmission of approved documents to clients.
  • Promote exceptional customer service.
  • Understand and advocate for Canadian Solar products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Procurement Manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of pertinent experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and visual).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Experience with scheduling in MS Project (P6 is an asset).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as necessary.
  • Valid Driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Some travel to project sites may be required.
