Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist the procurement and project management teams with coordination of project-related activities.
  • Project Planning: Help develop project plans and communications documents.
  • Schedule Development: Proactively assist with schedule development and milestone tracking.
  • Vendor Management: Support the procurement manager with vendor commitments and relationships.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project status updates.
  • Documentation Management: Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals, and other documentation.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Subcontractor Management: Support subcontractor operations and manage the subcontractor schedule.
  • Critical Path Management: Identify and manage critical paths to task completion.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solve unique situations as they arise.
  • Business Process Improvement: Participate in developing and maintaining business management tools for project execution.
  • Process Revisions: Identify process improvement areas and assist with process revisions.
  • Proposal Development: Support the procurement manager in developing proposals and contract exhibits.
  • Project Documentation: Monitor project documentation status and compliance.
  • Document Verification: Review and verify project documents for completeness and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Project Proposal Submission: Submit project proposals for management approval and transmit approved documents to the customer.
  • Customer Service: Promote excellent customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand and promote Canadian Solar products.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Procurement Manager.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and visual). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project). Experience with scheduling in MS Project (P6 is an asset). Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally. Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and conduct. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required. Valid Driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle. Some travel to project sites may be required.
