Job Summary

VERSION 6 CAR RENTAL INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth, study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, and determine merchandise and services to be sold.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
  • Supervision: Supervise 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a retail or store management role.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptability, analytical skills, energetic, hardworking, outgoing, positive attitude, time management, client focus, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, team player, resourcefulness, and ability to multitask.
