Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 8344795 CANADA INC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and itineraries, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints or concerns, and ensuring professionalism in all interactions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and prepare reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
