Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 8344795 CANADA INC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo, including hazardous materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure compliance with all relevant documentation requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and varying weather conditions.
