About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Revo Plumbing and Heating Incorporated. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and overhaul heating systems, including gas and oil-fired systems, heat pumps, and radiant floor heating systems.
  • Install refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and packaged units.
  • Interpret blueprints and other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
  • Read blueprints and other instructions to determine work requirements.
  • Troubleshoot heating systems, including gas and oil-fired systems, heat pumps, and radiant floor heating systems.
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and packaged units.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Provide customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints.
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices.
  • Perform maintenance, including recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating system.
  • Interpret gas codes and handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Working at Heights Training.
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
