Job Title: Mental Health Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to our clients in a primary health care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans for clients with mental health issues
  • Provide counseling services in individual and group therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, or motivational interview techniques
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and medication management from inpatient and outpatient perspectives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
  • Current and valid nursing license in Ontario
  • Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in nursing practice performing mental health nursing activities
