POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Bilingual Claims Processing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of SIRVA's operations by managing the processing and verification of claims, advances, and supplier invoices for our clientele. You will oversee claims from the moment they are received until their resolution, adhering to all policies, guidelines, and quality standards as stipulated in our service level agreements. Your analytical skills will be essential in assessing claims, advances, and invoices to verify eligibility and compliance with filing requirements, enabling you to make informed decisions regarding various claim types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage expense claims in alignment with the relocation policy, ensuring thorough verification and reconciliation of expenses.
  • Analyze claims, advances, and supplier invoices to confirm adherence to eligibility and filing requirements, making necessary determinations.
  • Process diverse claim types by identifying corrective actions for system-generated errors and resolving these issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of invoice verification tasks.
  • Engage professionally with individuals across various situations to uphold a positive corporate image.
  • Respond to urgent and emergency requests efficiently, ensuring timely handling of all inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and leverage your expertise to suggest enhancements.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and attention to detail while managing time effectively.
  • Understand the customer’s relocation budget in accordance with the Relocation Policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide guidance and information to clients and service providers as necessary to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
  • Assist the General Inquiries team with various communications from CAF Members, including chats, emails, and phone calls.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the Contact Centre as required.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of relocation processes, residential real estate, mortgages, legal aspects, or banking is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable procedures.
  • 1-2 years of experience in processing client claims.
  • Prior experience in a customer support role within a contact center environment.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of taking on additional responsibilities and working flexible hours as needed.
  • Team-oriented individual who can work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Capacity to plan and manage workload effectively under time constraints without direct supervision.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
