About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Performance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment and Treatment Planning

You will conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.

Massage Therapy Services

You will administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations, to promote relaxation, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve range of motion.

Communication and Education

You will educate clients on proper body mechanics, provide guidance on self-care techniques, and offer recommendations for maintaining optimal health and wellness.

Record Keeping and Documentation

You will maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatments, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Certification

Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists is required.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

You will possess excellent oral communication skills, be able to work effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals, and demonstrate a strong commitment to client-centered care.

Transportation and Availability

You will have access to reliable transportation and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
