Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Performance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Treatment Planning
You will conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
Massage Therapy ServicesYou will administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations, to promote relaxation, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve range of motion.
Communication and EducationYou will educate clients on proper body mechanics, provide guidance on self-care techniques, and offer recommendations for home care and maintenance.
Record Keeping and DocumentationYou will maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatments, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements- Certification and Licensure
You must be certified by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
Education and ExperienceYou must have a diploma or certificate in massage therapy from a recognized institution, and relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
Personal QualitiesYou must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to client care and satisfaction.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. You will have access to a range of resources and equipment to support your work, including massage tables, linens, and hydrotherapy equipment.
