Insurance Customer Service Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Support professional to join our team at Cowan Insurance Group. As a Client Support, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our personal insurance customers and insurance markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process renewals in our broker management system Epic
- Quote client policies in Applied Rating Services
- Review policies for gaps in coverage and identify coverage enhancement opportunities
- Process varied terms notices received from our carriers
- Review new business and renewal policies to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Follow up with insurance carriers for late renewals
Requirements:
- RIBO license or ability to obtain RIBO an asset
- CAIB or CIP designations (or working toward designations) would be an asset
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage high volume while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional, proactive, and positive work attitude is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience with EPIC would be an asset
