About the Role

The Product Allocation Specialist will play a key role in creating an optimal product mix at store level through analysis and allocation of goods to maximize profitable sales. This involves creating weekly shipping strategies that enable allocating products to the right stores at the right time by leveraging business tools to analyze department specific sales trends, inventory optimization, store volumes and demographics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, and store volumes to ensure optimal product allocation.
  • Develops and implements weekly shipping strategies to maximize profitable sales.
  • Collaborates with stores and distribution centers to review and resolve issues related to product allocation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of specific store events to optimize shipping strategies.
  • Identifies and recommends business opportunities by analyzing sales trends and market research.

Requirements

  • College Diploma or bachelor's degree in Retail or Business Management is preferred; or equivalent work experience.
  • Good business analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Interpersonal abilities to perform effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications - Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook.
