We are seeking a highly skilled Allocation Analyst to join our team at TJX Canada. As an Allocation Analyst, you will play a critical role in creating an optimal product mix at store level through analysis and allocation of goods to maximize profitable sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement weekly shipping strategies to allocate products to the right stores at the right time.
- Track and interpret inventory levels to ensure they are achieving plans by monitoring store sales, inventory, and inventory to sales ratio.
- Visit stores and competition to evaluate and critique product mix for brands, fashion, quality, and price, sharing findings and developing recommendations to implement with business partners.
- Identify, recommend, and execute on business opportunities by analyzing sales trends, researching market trends that reflect merchandise strategy; measure results and provide recommendations.
- Assist with planning and execution of specific store events to optimize shipping strategies; summarize results to develop recommendations that will inform success of future events.
- Collaborate and assist Stores and Distribution Centers to review and resolve issues related to product.
- College Diploma or bachelor's degree in Retail or Business Management is preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- Good business analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to aid in effective decision-making; strong problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal abilities to perform effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, where partnering with others and building strong working relationships are critical; solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
