Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Jot Flooring & Renovations Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction and repair projects
- Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware
- Supervise and coordinate with other workers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial buildings, including wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Commercial, industrial, and residential work experience
- Ability to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
